Another serpentine pile, from Westford

Here is one more. Again, Barb is at the far end next to the "head" which is a tipped up triangle.Thanks to Nancy W. for mentioning "tipped up triangle". Let me mention that this example of a serpentine pile and the previous one had something round at the other end, a boulder in this case, and a pile in the pervious case. But I do not remember any such thing from the Carlisle example we saw [Click here].
